Learning Objective 2:
Identify strategies for collaborating with older SPs
Learning Objective 3:
Reflect on practical aspects of applying these strategies in their workplace
This course focuses on a detailed aspect of the topic.
There can be specific considerations in collaborating with older simulated patients (SPs), related to physiological changes associated with normal aging. In this workshop, we will draw on theory, evidence, and our experiences to explore how to collaborate with older SPs in a safe and effective manner. Activities include a large group presentation, small group activities, a fish-bowl simulation and opportunities for reflection and discussion.
