Learning Objective 1:
Identify appropriate educational content for 360-degree video; construct learning scenarios that can be conveyed in a 360-degree learning environment to benefit learners
Learning Objective 2:
Describe the preparation and production of 360-degree video content; identify the audio/video equipment and editing software needed to create 360-degree video content
Learning Objective 3:
Construct psychologically safe environments with recorded simulations; establish a safe and engaging learning space through prebriefing and debriefing in video simulation
Content Category: Innovator
Course Content:
This course is an example of a specific scenario, course, or curriculum.
Course Overview:
Virtual reality (VR) experiences can provide trainees with immersive scenarios to learn core concepts remotely and asynchronously. In the past, designing VR simulations could be expensive, time-consuming, and require collaboration with software experts. Now, simulation educators can feasibly create their own immersive experiences with 360-degree cameras. This hands-on workshop will show the skills and equipment needed to create 360-degree videos.
