Course Overview:
During COVID-19 pandemic(1), simulation centers weren't able to deliver in-person training. Immediate training of remote and rural healthcare providers was needed. We developed a model to provide just-in-time online training (JITOT). This course describes the process of creating an effective JITOT session in a limited timeframe to fulfill the immediate training needs of providers. The course also focuses on learners assessment & outcomes of JITOT

Co-Presenter: Meg Davis, BS, University of Nebraska Medical Center About the co-presenter: Meg Davis is the Assistant Manager for Administration with the Simulation in Motion - Nebraska program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She is a native of rural Iowa and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University. Meg feels strongly that rural healthcare providers deserve the same experiential learning opportunities as large, metro areas providers receive.
