Course Overview:
The purpose of this presentation is to create a dialogue regarding simulation use in advanced practice nursing programs. A review of simulation research in general and the results of a descriptive survey and focus groups with Nurse Practitioner faculty will be presented. Contextual factors affecting the use of simulation, opprtunities for development, and idea generation will be incorporated into the panel discussion.
