Using INACSL Standards of Best Practice: Simulation to Generate Reproducible Outcomes (1090-002202)
CE Hours: 1.00 Session Type: Prerecorded Educational Courses
Learning Objective 1:
Identify International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL) Standards of Best Practice: Simulation and IPE
Learning Objective 2:
Determine essential components (faculty, staff, and equipment) needed to develop a large scale IPE simulation program that spans an academic year
Learning Objective 3:
Apply knowledge gained to develop a HFS IPE simulation program that spans an academic year or semester using INACSL Standards of Best Practice
This course focuses on a detailed aspect of the topic.
Interprofessional education (IPE) and high-fidelity simulation (HFS) have positively impacted student learning. HFS provides a safe environment for students to practice interprofessional skills, such as teamwork and communication. A HFS IPE experience was developed using the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL) Standards of Best Practice in achieving positive and consistent IPE student learning outcomes.
