CE Hours: 1.50 Session Type: Prerecorded Educational Courses Cost: $0.00
Learning Objective 1:
Identify the importance of effective simulation design and equipment selection to promote effective simulation-based training.
Learning Objective 2:
Describe the MUSTS of essential simulation design elements and ways to enhance simulation program functionality in varied healthcare settings and identifying lessons learned, pearls and pitfalls from implementing center expansion and growth
Learning Objective 3:
Evaluate simulated designs based on specific criteria and compare design improvements for improved functionality for simulated activities.
Content Category: Educator
Course Content:
This course focuses on a detailed aspect of the topic.
Course Overview:
The effectiveness of simulation space design can either enhance or inhibit activity flow and growth of a simulation program. A “one size fits all solution” does not exist when designing a simulation center. This immersive course will allow participants to work on designing simulation spaces related to a center’s described needs. Analysis and feedback will be provided for design improvements and to better meet the simulation center needs.
