Course Overview:
We have used adult aggressive patient education programs to design and successfully implement adolescent scenarios for use in a behavioral health in situ program. This course will demonstrate how in situ simulation can be leveraged in outpatient and inpatient behavioral health units. Participants will engage in scenario design and discuss challenges that must be overcome to implement an in situ program in a psychologically safe manner.
