Speech Analysis Tool to Detect Emotions and Fixation Errors (1090-004126)
CE Hours: 0.25 Session Type: SimVentors Session Sub Type: Prerecorded Video Demonstration Cost: $0.00
Description:
The Speech Analysis Tool is a powerful solution to track—individually—both the tone of voice and spoken words of the learners, providing a semantic and pragmatic overview of interpersonal communication aimed at detecting emotions and fixation errors. According to the Polytechnic School of Turin and to ISTI-CNR (a branch from the Italian Research Council), the fidelity of a speech recording and transcription is approximately 94%. An operator, such as a simulation engineer, may be able to amend and modify the transcript so that the fidelity of the transcript achieves 100% semantic accuracy. Functions and visual outputs include the following: 1. An integral transcript or a dialogue which can be visualized. - Audio clips, automatically divided phrase by phrase, are also available. 2. A word counter shows the number of spoken words per minute. 3. An internal search engine enables keyword search, highlighting the words in the transcript. 4. A word cloud tool visually summarizes the most spoken words. 5. A Voice Analysis tool is available in order to measure and visualize waveform (Decibel), perceived loudness (Hertz) and pitch.
