Course Overview:
Autonomic Dysreflexia can have a variety of clinical manifestations from mild to severe. Using a hybrid simulation with task trainers and standardized patients, this session will focus on ways to enhance teamwork and communication with nurses, medical residents, and others. Special attention will be given to pregnant women with spinal cord injuries as it is essential to be able to differentiate between autonomic dysreflexia and preeclampsia.
