At the University of Delaware, a three-credit course started in 2009 provides the sim center with a low budget option to recruit simulated participants. Students across the university enroll in this interprofessional course to learn about the essentials of SP methodology. These SPs receive course credit to participate as simulated participants and family members in simulations at the university and local hospitals.
