As healthcare delivery systems grow increasingly complex, schools of nursing must address the legal and ethical standards for safe, accountable nursing practice. This course details the creation of a courtroom-based legal simulation for senior-level pre-licensure nursing students. Student roles, knowledge generation for professional practice, and debriefing for high-emotion simulation will be highlighted.
