Course Overview:
Best practices for adapting patient safety curricula for use outside of original contexts is not well described. We will draw on experiences by educators in high reliability sectors and use established cultural description models to show opportunities for curriculum adaptation. We will end with a review of best practices for curriculum adaptation and a proposal for a step by step process of simulation curriculum adaptation.
