Course Overview:
Medical simulation is a perfect vehicle for community outreach benefiting underrepresented youth and promoting professions within the health sciences. The Yale Simulation Academy is in its fifth year of accepting inner city high school sophomores into a 6-month curriculum that is designed assuming no medical background and utilizes procedural training to engage learners. This presentation will discuss curriculum design and program implementation.
