Learning Objective 1:
Describe how to plan and coordinate real-time, concurrent scenarios using tabletop simulations and standardized patients and participants for behavioral health simulations
Learning Objective 2:
Describe how standardized patients and participants are used to help uncover latent safety threats in the areas of communication, environment, equipment, knowledge, and workflow when testing new healthcare facilities

This course is an example of a specific scenario, course, or curriculum.
This Behavioral Health curriculum focuses on identifying staff concerns, medical/equipment issues, facility/space, communication, medical management, and latent safety threats. We will cover processes and techniques to discover potential issues, immersive scenarios with standardized patients/participants. Attendees will take away an adaptive process for testing a complex behavioral health care system with ways to identify safety concerns.
