Learn how laparoscopic simulation is integrated into the Indiana University training program. Additionally, this session will showcase simulated Nissen Fundoplication and Inguinal Hernia procedures in a fascinating demo session. The LAP Mentor advanced high-fidelity laparoscopic simulator will be featured with a focus on how it is used in a clinical setting. It is designed to train multi-level learners to master basic laparoscopic skills as well as the most complex procedures. This session will show how these capabilities benefit Indiana University’s Surgical Training Program.
