Virtual Simulator for Clinical Cases (including Free Editor and a Sharing Platform) and a new Model-Driven Mechanical Ventilation Solution: DrSim 2.0.0 and LungSim (Accurate)

Start time: Wednesday, March 3, 2021, 11:00 AM
End time: Wednesday, March 3, 2021, 12:00 PM
Session Type: Learning Labs
Cost: $0.00
Description:
Accurate presents two innovative virtual tools for healthcare educators that allow instructors to bring their simulation activities online. DrSim 2.0.0 is a brand new interactive clinical simulator for telesimulation, build on a lifetime software license, that allows the editing of medical scenarios as well as the download of clinical cases from a free sharing platform ( https://www.drsimacademy.eu/ ). DrSim is able to save clinical scenarios in an archive file compatible with SCORM standards ready for distribution on e-learning platforms or web-servers, with no limitation on the number of users to train. LungSim is a unique and immersive model-driven mechanical ventilator simulator that allows the instructor to create advanced simulation scenarios on different patients with pulmonary disease or acute respiratory failures, and that can be linked to a patient simulator. The LungSim software, distributed with a lifetime license, is composed by a realistic “user interface” with built-in validated layouts that simulates a real ventilator and different ventilation modes (Volume Control, Pressure Control, Pressure Support, APRV, etc.) and a user-friendly browser based “instructor interface” that can be used on any PC, tablet or smartphone.
