First Presenter: Matt Merino, None Received, Education Management Solutions About the presenter: Matt Merino has healthcare and simulation career spanning two decades and is the Chief Executive Officer of Education Management Solutions. He experienced high impact simulation first-hand during his service as a member of the United States Army Special Operations community. Matt was awarded 13 medals for his distinguished service, including the Bronze Star. For the past 15 years, Matt has driven innovation across healthcare programs, accelerating pre-licensure education solutions for university and healthcare partners. He leads solutions teams to serve as a conduit for technology, enabling growth for healthcare education programs. His solutions span all aspects of learner enablement from recruiting, admissions, student support – to distance immersion learning, business analytics and site selection, staffing, and simulation center design and operations.
